(Albizia Julibrissin Rosea)

This deciduous flowering tree can be classed as an exotic and should only be planted where it will not be susceptible to exposed or cold locations.

The Albizia is certainly an ornamental show plant, with its peculiar feathery pink flowers and architectural bright green leaves.

Also known as the Mimosa or Silk Tree, it flowers throughout the summer, prefers full sun and is also drought resistant.

Although quite hardy, this plant could be kept in a large pot on the patio in summer and moved into the conservatory or sheltered position over winter to avoid being affected by the cold.

Supplied as a 65cm (approx) pot grown plant.
