This species has been around since about 1740.

It has a nutty flavour and is also a good choice for cooking with. A heavy cropper with an orange skin, streaked with red.

These also store well like the Bramley and Cox cultivars and are a good dual purpose apple (suitable for eating and cooking).

Grafted onto M9 rootstock. Supplied as a moist root wrapped plant ready for planting out. Height approximately 1.5 - 2 metre. Disease resistant.
