Blueberry
The Patriot blueberry probably has the largest fruits of all the Blueberry cultivars.
Very juicy and like the Cranberry they are full of vitamin C, especially when eaten raw. The patriot is a high yielding variety whether you grow in pots (use ericaceous compost) or soil.
They prefer well drained peaty soil with a ph range of 4 to 5.5, full sun and are ripe from late July onwards.
It is advisable to plant out more than one as this helps with cross pollination and a bigger harvest.
