(Orange Glow / Firethorn) 

Pyracantha, also known as Orangle Glow or Firethorn, is a trouble-free, effortless evergreen hedging plant. Masses of white flowers are followed by wonderful orangey red berries throughout the autumn. It can also be trained to grow against a wall or fence or grown as a freestanding hedge.

Suitable for full sun or partial shade, the Pyracantha can be located in most soil types, including clay soils as long as the site is not prone to heavy water- logging.

As the Firethorn name suggests, this hardy hedging plant can be useful for stock control and as a deterrent due to its thorny appearance.

Supplied as 45cm (approx) pot grown plants. Plant 45cm apart.
