(Fagus Sylvatica Pendula Purpurea)
This attractive Beech with its cascading branches can be a good alternative to the traditional Beech tree.
Fairly fast growing, our young grafted plants can reach eventual heights of around 3 metres. Very hardy and suitable for most soil types, it prefers full sun or partial shade.
Foliage is a rich purple, almost black, and it flowers around April to May. A stunning effect can be achieved if placed with other silver or lighter coloured planting.
Supplied as a pot grown or root-balled plant.
