Weeping Willow
(Salix Tristis)
The graceful Weeping Willow is a common sight around some of England riverbanks and lakes.
This tree is certainly not suitable for small or restricted areas as it can grow to a huge size.
The Willow loves naturally moist ground and prefers being placed in full sun. Since they love water they should not be planted near water/sewer pipes for obvious reasons.
These trees are quite short lived, with a lifespan of around 35 years.
Supplied as a 1.2 metre (approx) pot grown or root-balled plant.
